Stress-Free Lunch
At least one time a month, we ask for volunteers to monitor the cafeteria during lunch so that the teachers may enjoy a quiet, stress-free meal.

Show teachers and staff how much we value them by bringing in a small treat each month!
We provide you a list of their favorite things and you bring a "treat" for them. (maximum of $10, October - May).

Yearbooks ordered before 12/19/26 will be discounted! Orders placed after 12/19/26 will have $3.00 added charge.
Yearbooks will be distributed in the final weeks of school.

Spirit Nights
Connect with Oakwood families and support your school while feeding your family! Spirit Nights take the work out of dinner and allow you the opportunity to socialize with other Blue Jays while a portion of your meal goes directly to our school!

Field Day
Join us as we provide a day of fun, competition and laughs with old fashioned Field Day! Volunteers are crutial to the success of field day. Click HERE for ways you can help.
Field Day will be held at YMCA in Hickory. Parents are encouraged to come and spectate. We ask you to come directly to YMCA (park in 4th ST parking lot) and walk to the field. Lunch for kids is 12:00-1:00. We end at 2:30 to walk back to school. Bring a blanket/chair, water bottle and a great attitude!

Providing meals, special treats, birthday gifts, and celebrations is what this committee is all about! If you enjoy coordinating meals, decorating the staff lounge, or cleaning up after a meal or event, there is a place for you!
